My ePortfolio

Hello everyone ~~ Welcome to my page. My name is Teh Ru Qian, and I am now enrolled at UTM to study data engineering. For now, I will share my Sem 1 project as well. I hope everyone has fun with it.💫

About Me ✨

Hello, I'm Ru Qian, currently pursuing a degree in Data Engineering. Passionate about coding and problem-solving, I aspire to contribute to innovative advancements in technology.

Project - SECPH YEAR 1 SEM 1

Here is all my project in Sem 1 Year 1 (SECPH).

Discrete Structure

The concepts and uses of discrete structure in computer science are introduced to the students in this course. Set theory, proving strategies, relations, functions, recurrence relations, counting techniques, graph theory, trees, and finite automata are among the subjects studied in this course. By the end of the course, the student should be able to model electronic devices and issues using deterministic finite automata finite state machines, analyze and solve problems using recurrence relations and counting techniques, apply graph theory and trees to real-world problems, and use set theory, relations, and functions to solve computer science problems.

Digital Logic

All microprocessor-based systems, including those in computers, robotics, cars, and industrial control systems, are built on digital electronics. In addition to giving students an extensive review of numerous crucial ideas, elements, and techniques, this course exposes them to digital electronics. The most recent information on digital fundamentals from basic concepts to programmable logic devices will be taught to students. Practical experience with the simulator software, real devices, and circuits covered in class is provided by laboratory experiments.

Integrity and Anti-Corruption

This course focuses on the core concepts of UTM, which serve as inspiration for creative and innovative individuals resources to fulfill the nation's future demands. Integrity, Synergy, Excellence, and Sustainability (ISES) constitute the primary pillars. Sustainability, Excellence, and Synergy. This course's fundamental idea is the importance of integrity, values, and self-identity in preventing power abuse in both daily life and organizational settings, including corruption and the implementation of anti-corruption measures.

Programming Technique I

This course, which covers a foundational subject, gives students theory and practice in structured problem-solving strategies. To address easy to moderate issues, students must write programs in the C++ programming language. The program covers the following topics: file operations, pointers, built-in and user-defined functions, sequential, selection, and loop control structures; preprocessor directives; constants and variables; data types; input and output statements; and structured data types.

Technology and Information System

This course serves as an introductory introduction to information systems and technology (IS/IT) and how it can be used both at home and at work. There will be an introduction to several parts of IS/IT, including network, communications, hardware, and software. A significant part of the study will be focused in the labs where students will gain actual experience with PC installation and productivity applications. As part of work-based learning, this class regularly hosts seminars and visits from industry leaders. Students will be exposed to a real working environment, learn from the business, and see an increase in industry-university engagement through both industry visits and seminars. Additionally, the student does a quick investigation into the required skills and employment requirements for an IT career.
